Dr. Fabiana Fantinel is Partner at Execon Partners, she is part of the innovation praxis. Fabiana is an expert in innovation, new market and supply chain strategy, focusing on the chemicals, pharmaceuticals and biotech industry, with over 14 years of professional experience. She worked several years at BASF and LyondellBasell, as well as in consulting at Capgemini Consulting and 10EQS (Mc Kinsey spin-off); there she led a variety of projects ranging from new market strategy, product portfolio strategy, R&D/Innovation,  product launch and supply chain. Fabiana holds a Ph.D in Chemistry from University of Padova and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool. She is author of 12 scientific publications and of 27 patents for products successfully commercialized. Fabiana is also evaluator for the Horizon 2020 projects.

She worked on several innovation projects such as:

  • Fuel additives product portfolio strategy and value chain analysis for a US based specialty chemical company.
  • New product strategy andsupply chain network design for a biotech start-up
  • Innovation Strategy and organic business expansion for large plastic resin manufacture, including customer segmentation for selected products
  • Innovation and product development strategy for a global plastic producer

Dr. Josef Glaß is Managing Partner at Execon Partners. Josef has a strong track record in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. His over 15 years of international experience covers the boardrooms of large DAX companies as well as medium-sized family enterprises. He worked several years at the Boston Consulting Group, where he led several M&A projects – both on the seller and the buyer side. Subsequently, as a senior manager at Bayer, he gathered valuable experience in the internal functioning of a global corporation. He holds degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universities of Erlangen and Melbourne and a PhD in Innovation Management.

Lorenzo Formiconi is Managing Partner at Execon Parners. Lorenzo is an expert in operations management and restructuring, focusing on the chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and packaging industry, with over 15 years of professional experience.  He worked several years at McKinsey & Company and Management Engineers (now Strategy&), where he led a variety of projects ranging from operational improvement programs in the area of manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain to strategic realignments such as manufacturing & technology footprint redesigns.  Lorenzo holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University, Milan and a Master in International Affairs from the Institute of International Political Studies, Milan.
